The final registration procedures for candidates who have been granted the right to register as a result of the applications for international students to the associate and undergraduate programs between July 3 and July 20, 2023 will be carried out in person at our University's Student Affairs Office or by the candidates’ legal representatives. The registration procedures for candidates will take place between August 21 and August 25, 2023, and if no applications are made by the primary candidates within the specified period, the wait list will be announced on August 28, 2023. Registration procedures for the waitlisted candidates who have been granted the right to register will be conducted between August 29 and September 1, 2023. If no applications are made by the first waitlisted candidates within the specified period, the second wait list will be announced on September 4, 2023. Registration procedures for candidates from the second wait list will be carried out between September 5 and September 6, 2023.
During registration, the original versions of the documents uploaded to the application system and the other documents listed below will be requested from the candidates. Candidates with inconsistent or incomplete application documents will not be able to complete their final registration procedures. Candidates who do not register within the specified periods will be deemed to have given up their registration rights.
Documents Required for Registration
- Equivalency certificate obtained from the Provincial Directorate of National Education in Turkey for candidates who completed their secondary education outside the Republic of Turkey, or equivalency certificate obtained from education counselors or attachés abroad.

- TR-YÖS exam result certificate or valid and verifiable result certificate of Foreign Student Selection Exams conducted by state universities in Turkey.

- For candidates who have graduated from high school, the original high school diploma must be translated into Turkish and certified by a notary public or the Turkish Republic Embassy or Consulate. (Candidates currently in their final year of high school should bring a certified document indicating that they will graduate.)

- Translated and certified by a notary public or the Turkish Republic Embassy or Consulate, the original transcript or report card. (Candidates from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan do not need to bring an additional document as their transcripts are already included with their diplomas.)

- Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (if available).

- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (if available).

- Original passport or identity document issued by official authorities.
|
- 3 passport photographs.

- For candidates under 18 years old, a) The original birth certificate, translated into Turkish and certified by a notary public or the Turkish Republic Embassy/Consulate, with an apostille. b) If one of the parents is not present, an apostille notarized consent letter from the absent parent, translated into Turkish and certified by a notary public or the Turkish Republic Embassy/Consulate.

Turkish Proficiency and Preparatory Education
The Turkish proficiency of the candidates is evaluated based on the Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate issued by Yunus Emre Institute, the Turkish language education certificate provided by the Republic of Turkey Embassies, or the certificates obtained from Turkish Teaching Centers affiliated with universities in the Republic of Turkey. Candidates who have completed their secondary education in Turkish high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education are considered to have sufficient Turkish proficiency.
Students who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate and who do not pass or take the Turkish Proficiency and Placement Exam, conducted by our University, are required to attend the Turkish Preparatory Program.
The Turkish Proficiency Exam for candidates who have been granted the right to register will be held on
September 25, 2023.
Note: Students who are admitted to programs with mandatory foreign language preparatory classes and who meet the Turkish proficiency requirement will be directly admitted to the first year if they can provide proof of success in a nationally and/or internationally accepted foreign language exam recognized by our University, or if they pass the Preparatory Class Foreign Language Proficiency Exam conducted by our University.
Letter of Acceptance
Candidates who have applied to the quotas opened within the scope of our University's 2023 international student program and have been accepted by the Foreign Student Acceptance and Evaluation Committee can obtain their acceptance letters through
the online application system.
Note: The evaluation process of the candidates' applications has been conducted in accordance with the principles of acceptance to our University's Associate and Undergraduate Programs from Abroad and the evaluation criteria of the Tarsus University Foreign Student Acceptance and Evaluation Committee.
