DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT OPENING
Requests for establishment of a department/department within faculties and colleges by higher education institutions, and opening associate degree programs in vocational schools are made on the YÖKSİS database as of 07.01.2019.
The documents required for applications to open a department/program or department are listed below. It is necessary to prepare these documents completely and in accordance with the desired format, to evaluate the applications within the scope of current legislation and academic criteria and to conclude them as soon as possible.
The documents created by the relevant unit in accordance with the desired format within the framework of the criteria determined by the Council of Higher Education are sent to the Rectorate Student Affairs Department together with the Faculty/School Board Decision with a cover letter.
It is submitted to the Senate of our University by the Registrar's Office,
The proposal approved by the Senate of our university is written to YÖK in an official letter,
After the correspondence is completed, (Program Information Form, (other documents, if any) Senate Decision and a cover letter to YÖK) are submitted to YÖKSİS/ABAYS for approval.
The decision announced by the Council of Higher Education is notified to the relevant unit, the Personnel Department and the Information Processing Department.
