OPENING GRADUATE PROGRAM The
requests regarding the opening of graduate programs by higher education institutions are made through YÖKSİS/ABAYS, through the YÖKSİS-General Operations-Program/Department Opening, Student Admission tab.
The documents required for applications to open a new graduate program are listed below. It is necessary to prepare these documents completely and in accordance with the desired format, to evaluate the applications within the scope of current legislation and academic criteria and to conclude them as soon as possible.
The documents prepared in accordance with the desired format within the framework of the criteria determined by the Council of Higher Education by the Head of the relevant Department within the Graduate Education Institute of our University are sent to the Institute Directorate with a cover letter, together with the decision of the Department / Department Board.
The application for opening a graduate program, which is examined in terms of compliance with the criteria and format and approved by the relevant committees of the Graduate School, is sent to the Rector's Office of Student Affairs with the necessary documents together with the Decision of the Graduate School.
It is submitted to the Senate of our University by the Registrar's Office,
The proposal approved by the Senate of our university is written to YÖK in an official letter,
After the correspondence is completed (Program Information Form (other documents, if any), Senate Decision and a cover letter to YÖK) are submitted to YÖKS/ABAYS for approval.
The decision announced by the Council of Higher Education is notified to the relevant Institute Directorate, Personnel Department and Information Processing Department.
